Guru-Tutor User Agreement
Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully. Your access to and usage of the tuition matching service is conditioned on your acceptance of and compliance with these Terms and Conditions. These Terms are applied to all users, visitors and others who access or use this Website. You agree that using the Site as the visitor, viewer or registered member, you must be at least eighteen (18) years of age or older. If you are between thirteen (13) and eighteen (18), you have parental permission to enter into an agreement to accept these Terms and to use the tuition services.
Through our Services, we enable students or their parents to connect with tutors for arrangements including but not limited to, private tuition at home, tuition in public places, group tuition, Skype tutoring lessons, or homework help depending on Tutor’s discretion and Tutee’s preference.
Guru-Tutor reserves the right to edit, cancel and cease offering any of the Services offered at the website. Guru-Tutor shall not assume any responsibility or obligation for the timeliness, missed lessons, etc., any other wrong actions, communication or personalization settings. You may not use Guru-Tutor for activities that:
Violate any law, stature, ordinance or regulation in any countries.
Involving (a) narcotics, steroids, certain controlled substances or other products that present a risk to consumer safety, (b) drug paraphernalia, (c) cigarettes, (d) items that encourage, promote, facilitate or instruct others to engage in illegal activity, (e) stolen goods including digital and virtual goods, (f) the promotion of hate, violence, racial or other forms of intolerance that is discriminatory or the financial exploitation of a crime, (g) items that are considered obscene, (h) items that infringe or violate any copyright, trademark, right of publicity or privacy or any other proprietary right under the laws of any jurisdiction, (i) certain sexually oriented materials or services, (j) ammunition, firearms, or certain firearm parts or accessories, or (k) certain weapons or knives regulated under applicable law.
relate to transactions that (a) show the personal information of third parties in violation of applicable law, (b) support pyramid or ponzi schemes, matrix programs, other “get rich quick” schemes or certain multi-level marketing programs, (c) are associated with purchases of annuities or lottery contracts, lay-away systems, off-shore banking or transactions to finance or refinance debts funded by a credit card, (d) are for the sale of certain items before the seller has control or possession of the item, (e) are by payment processors to collect payments on behalf of merchants, (f) are associated with the sale of traveler’s checks or money orders, (h)involve currency exchanges or check cashing businesses, (i) involve certain credit repair, debt settlement services, credit transactions or insurance activities, or (k) involve offering or receiving payments for the purpose of bribery or corruption.
Guru-Tutor is FREE for All for now. All payment if any, currency references are stated in the Tutor’s profile. You shall be responsible for payment of all minimal costs resulting in changes and charges in the exchange rates. Tuition rates listed on our website are merely guidelines. We recommend PayPal or direct bank transfer if both Tutee and Tutor are from the same country. The exact price for tuition services may differ depending on client’s requirements, market conditions, availability of tutors, etc. The tutors can establish rates by themselves. But the final decision concerning price shall be accepted by confirmed agreement of both parties before commencement of their course and entirely lies between both Tutor and Tutee. Guru-Tutor will not be held responsible for any monetary, financial or transactional issues.
You may report any misuser to us, we will take relevant actions against them. Please note that Guru-Tutor is just like any other website, please put only the information that you are comfortable with with us. Guru-Tutor will not be held liable whatsoever for any errant behavior of our patrons.
